Community Centers
In 2008, ICON CDC partnered with two affordable housing developers to provide community programs for residents. As of the summer of 2011, ICON CDC provides programs for three centers located in the Northeast San Fernando Valley (Pacoima, North Hills and Sylmar). All programming is delivered in both English and Spanish.
ICON CDC’s community centers provide services to over 60 individuals per week. Due to its success and positive reviews from residents and developers, ICON CDC has begun taking the necessary steps to expand programming to more community centers in the San Fernando Valley in 2012.
Programs focus on family-based activities and continued learning.
