Free Services and Permit Assistance for Sidewalk Vendors in the City of LA!
ICON CDC in partnership with the City of Los Angeles Economic and Workforce Development Department (EWDD) is launching the Sidewalk Vending Technical Assistance Program. Through this program, ICON CDC continues its legacy of supporting local entrepreneurs by providing the one-on-one guidance and resources you need to navigate the permit process and set up or continue a successful sidewalk vending operation.
Whether you're starting a new vending business or looking to renew your permit, we’re here to help every step of the way!
What We Offer
Permits: We help you obtain your permits by working hands-on to walk you through the steps required to acquire the proper permits to legally operate your business. From health and safety regulations to City of LA business licensing, we are here to help you comply with local laws. Our dedicated team will walk you through the process of obtaining:
○ Business Tax Registration Certificate (BTRC)
Technical Assistance: Assistance with all aspects of the vending process, including understanding regulations, completing applications, and gathering necessary documents.
Workshops & Training: Informational workshops and one-on-one training sessions to help you better understand the permit process, how to stay compliant, and financial resources to grow your business.
