Dog Grooming Business Launches in Panorama City with the Assistance of the North Valley BusinessSource Center

Jenny’s Dog Grooming is a start-up business located in Panorama City and is owned by Jenny Zamora. In December 2019, Jenny Zamora was referred to the North Valley BusinessSource Center by her sister, Christian Zamora, owner of Chris’s Dog Grooming in Pacoima. Jenny attended community college for a couple years and received an AA degree in Liberal Arts. Once she completed her degree, Jenny decided that she wanted to work with her family as a dog groomer.

“They are really helpful because they answer the questions that you don’t even know you have,” said Jenny Zamora, owner of Jenny’s Dog Grooming.

Jenny learned the ins and outs of owning a dog grooming business by working in her sister’s business alongside her mother and father. After gaining the knowledge and skills needed to operate a dog grooming business, she decided she wanted to open up her own dog grooming location and found a place at 8610 Van Nuys Boulevard #54 at Plaza del Valle in Panorama City. 

Jenny came into the North Valley BusinessSource Center, where a Business Coach was able to assess her business needs and assisted her at developing a service plan to obtain the necessary licenses and permits to start her business. The North Valley BusinessSource Center assisted Jenny with obtaining her BTRC, FEIN, and DBA. Jenny’s Dog Grooming will have a Grand Opening on Friday, January 31, 2020 with an official opening date of Saturday, February 1, 2020.
