North Valley Businesssource Center Helps Woodland Hills Juice Bar Obtain PPP Loan To Keep Doors Open
Phuong Minh Nguyen, the CEO of Healthy Greens Corporation, doing business as Healthy Greens Organics, has been committed to giving back to her community by offering affordable healthy juices and fresh organic foods from local farmers since July 2015.

Ms. Nguyen who goes by Paula not only provides easy access to healthy food, but also hosts fundraisers for schools and shows appreciation to firemen and policemen by giving them special discounts. She truly is dedicated to keeping her customers happy and healthy.
The latest challenge of all has been the economic hardship caused by the COVID-19 pandemic which led her to contact the North Valley BusinessSource Center. With the help from Business Coach Alma Torres, Paula was able to obtain the PPP loan and retained 3 part-time baristas, pay the lease of her location and hire 2 additional part time baristas. In the future, Paula hopes to open another two locations with a drive thru.

In addition to helping Paula with the PPP loan, Alma also got her a free marketing consultation with the North and South Valley BusinessSource Center’s marketing team. During the meeting, the marketing team discussed photography, social media engagement and brand awareness.
Paula mentioned that Healthy Greens’ social media presence has improved since it has encouraged customers to place more online orders and through delivery apps.
Paula has made sure to follow safety guidelines at Healthy Greens Organics to keep everyone safe. To help enforce social distancing, she has installed a plexiglass and 6FT floor decals. All staff are now required to wash their hands every 15 minutes, wear masks, gloves and practice social distancing. Customers are also required to wear masks and social distance.
