Eva is the owner of a Magical Touch Day Spa, which is a small business in the San Fernando Valley located at 19631 Parthenia Street. in Northridge, California and has been in business since 2004. She is a licensed Esthetician and Massage Therapist in the State of California. Magical Touch Day Spa offers a variety of services which include: massages, facials, waxing, extractions, permanent makeup, and body treatments.

Eva came to South Valley BusinessSource Center for assistance with her marketing and expansion possibilities. Eva attended South Valley's BusinessSource Marketing workshop in December of 2013 and applied some of the techniques shared during the workshop such as: delegating marketing responsibilities to an assistant, assigning a marketing director, setting automatic emails, Facebook promotions and having appointment reminders/promotions through email. Since then Magical Touch Day Spa has seen a 25% increase in business and due to this has hired another employee.   Eva mentioned feeling very motivated and excited after the class and now is very happy she attended.

Eva since then has been working very closely with her South Valley Business consultant in developing a Marketing and Expansion plan. She has been able to incorporate and rebrand her business to Northridge Beauty Bar and since then has obtained a loan of 50,000 to use towards her expansion and rebranding.  She negotiated and obtained a larger unit to lease where she has been able to build and add new features that will surely make her spa even more successful.  The South Valley BusinessSource Center has been working with her throughout the rebranding and expansion process with license, permits, marketing plan development, research, logo design, grand opening planning assistance, Hr assistance, customer service training and a referral to the local WorkSource Center  for hiring assistance etc. Northridge Beauty Bar hosted their Grand Opening on September 16th, 2017.

Eva is a self-taught business women and very driven one at that. Her goal is to always offer the best of the best service that will keep the customer happy and coming back for more.  Her review on her Yelp page attest to the great customer service she has. She has volunteered as a speaker and mentor for one of South Valley's BusinessSource Latino Entrepreneur training programs and was very inspirational to many of the participants. She encouraged them to follow their dreams and to never give up. She is not only a business owner but a proud Latina Business Woman.
