6 years ago, Leticia Roman and her husband Genaro Rodriguez got what many would call an opportunity of a lifetime when the owner of the store they worked for gave them the option to buy the store, as he was ready to retire. Soon, they became the owners of the store where Leticia had been a cashier and Genaro a butcher for 15 years in Panorama City.
Leticia is now the proud owner of 3 Hermanos Market, but her vision does not stop there. Her love for business has led her to dream even bigger and in January 2020, she opened 3 Hermanos Kitchen, a To-Go restaurant inside her store. Leticia has now created 3 full-time jobs with the help of the North Valley BusinessSource Center and hopes to continue to expand.
The North Valley BusinessSource not only helped Leticia with licenses and permits, but also provided assistance with social media marketing, creating accounts with delivery app companies, setting up a domain name, and SEO implementation. Leticia also received HR services which consisted of hiring packets, employee handbooks, specialized training for staff, harassment prevention resources, and required documentation for employees.
The North Valley BusinessSource organized the grand opening celebration for 3 Hermanos Kitchen in February 2020 and invited the Senate, Congress, and City Council District, representatives. The event helped the new venture gain more exposure on social media to increase awareness in the community.
3 Hermanos Kitchen is currently operating part-time due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 3 Hermanos Market is open normal business hours from 9 AM to 9 PM.
